Okuzumi Transport Supports Disability Art Activities Utilizing EV Subsidies
folofly Inc. (Representative Director: Hiroyasu Koma; Headquarters: Kyoto, Japan), an EV manufacturer specializing in Japan’s first 1-ton class EV trucks designed for last-mile delivery, is pleased to announce that Okuzumi Transport Co., Ltd. (President: Naohiro Okuzumi; Headquarters: Ome City, Tokyo) has introduced folofly’s F1VS4 and F1TS truck models. With the cooperation of Ome City, these vehicles have been adopted for resource waste collection within the city since September 2024.
The vehicles feature vibrant wrappings depicting colorful sea creatures, created by artists from the Social Welfare Corporation Yuai Gakuen (Workshop YUAI) located in Ome City. These EVs have commenced operations within Ome City, offering clean transportation complemented by visually engaging exteriors.
Okuzumi Transport plans to install solar panels in the future to generate its own electricity or purchase renewable energy, aiming for more environmentally friendly transportation. Additionally, subsidies obtained for the EV introduction have been allocated as copyright fees to the individual artists who designed the wrappings, supporting their ongoing artistic endeavors. This initiative is part of the company’s broader commitment to various SDGs activities.
folofly will continue to collaborate with forward-thinking companies dedicated to building a sustainable society. By enhancing support during the introduction phase and after-sales services, and developing vehicles and services tailored to diverse logistics needs, folofly contributes to decarbonization efforts that balance economy and ecology.

About folofly F1 Series – Meeting Decarbonization Needs in the Commercial Vehicle Industry
folofly focuses on domestic product development and design while outsourcing production in a “horizontal division of labor” style, similar to smartphones, achieving the development and sale of Japan’s first 1-ton class EV trucks, F1V and F1T, at twice the usual speed. Since obtaining commercial vehicle registration in September 2022, the F1VAN has been deployed nationwide, from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, including the Kanto and Chubu regions. In 2023, folofly introduced new models with enhanced safety features and convenience, and in July, the F1 series was certified as eligible for subsidies under the Commercial Vehicle Electrification Promotion Project.
