Introducing the First 1-Ton Class EV Van in Japan to Meet Diverse Needs in the Commercial Vehicle Industry

At the event, folofly showcased the F1VAN, Japan’s first 1-ton class EV van, and unveiled the new F1VS4, a 4-seater model developed to meet the evolving needs of the commercial EV market.

Highlights of the F1VS4 Unveiling:

  • Enhanced Seating Capacity: The F1VS4 features additional rear seats, accommodating two more passengers, making it suitable for corporate use and various operational scenarios.
  • Positive Reception: The new model received favorable feedback from construction professionals who require on-site mobility for multiple personnel and equipment. Existing customers expressed interest in additional purchases, highlighting the vehicle’s versatility.
  • Flexible Interior Configuration: The partition between the cargo area and the cabin is removable, and the rear seats can be folded to accommodate longer items like carpets or larger cargo, enhancing utility across different industries.
  • Driver Comfort: The front seats now recline, providing drivers with the opportunity to rest and recover during breaks.
  • Aesthetic Enhancements: The 4-seater model is equipped with rear windows, allowing passengers to enjoy scenic views.

During the exhibition, folofly also announced partnerships with companies such as ASKUL and Seven-Eleven Japan, leading to remarks from attendees like, “I’ve seen this vehicle before!” As a manufacturer of real-world EV trucks operating on public roads, folofly continues to drive the adoption of commercial EV trucks, contributing to a sustainable future.
