Multiple units of commercial kei EVs with industry-leading specs—up to 243 km range and 350 kg payload—begin operation
EV manufacturer Folofly Co., Ltd. (CEO: Hiroyasu Koma, Head Office: Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) is promoting the development and adoption of commercial EV trucks optimized for last-mile delivery.
In June 2025, a new kei EV model called FKV was added to their lineup. It was announced that SBS Holdings, Inc. (CEO: Masahiko Kamata, Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo), a major logistics company, introduced 10 FKV units, which SBS Sokuhai Support Co., Ltd. began operating from July 11.
SBS Sokuhai Support has been at the forefront of environmentally conscious logistics since the early stages of EV adoption. The company utilizes EVolity Fleet Management Service, developed and sold by EVolity Inc., to monitor EV battery and charging status, record and analyze operation data, and enhance fleet efficiency.
Folofly will continue to collaborate with forward-thinking companies working toward a sustainable society. They aim to contribute to decarbonization by enhancing support during vehicle introduction, improving after-sales services, and developing vehicles and services that meet the needs of the logistics industry—balancing both economy and ecology.

■About folofly’s F1 Series – Meeting Decarbonization Demands in the Commercial Automotive Sector
folofly has adopted a “horizontal division of labor” model, similar to that of smartphones, where product development and design are conducted domestically, while production is outsourced. This approach has allowed the company to develop and launch the F1V and F1T, 1-ton class EV trucks optimized for last-mile delivery, at twice the usual speed.
Since obtaining its commercial vehicle registration in September 2022, the F1VAN has been steadily introduced across Japan, including the Tokyo metropolitan area (Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama), the Chubu region, and from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south.
Starting in 2023, folofly has expanded its lineup with new models featuring enhanced safety and convenience features. In July, the F1VAN was officially recognized as an eligible vehicle under the Subsidy Program for Promoting the Electrification of Commercial Vehicles.
