Delivering Safe and Secure Green Coop Products with Zero CO2 Emissions in the Last Mile
folofly Inc. (Representative Director: Hiroyasu Koma; Headquarters: Kyoto, Japan), an EV manufacturer specializing in 1-ton class EV trucks suitable for last-mile delivery, is pleased to announce that Green Coop Fukuoka Consumers’ Cooperative (Headquarters: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City), a member of the Green Coop Cooperative Association comprising 16 cooperatives mainly in Western Japan, has introduced two models, the F1 VAN and F1 TRUCK. These vehicles have commenced operations as small cargo EVs in the Kyushu region.
Since obtaining commercial vehicle registration in September 2022, the F1 VAN has been operating in home delivery services across Japan, including the Kanto region (Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama), the Chubu region, and from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south. With this first introduction in Kyushu, folofly, in collaboration with Marubeni Automotive, will continue to enhance support during introduction and after-sales services, promoting the practical use of commercial EVs nationwide.
About Green Coop Cooperative Association
Established in 2018, the Green Coop Cooperative Association consists of 16 cooperatives and various organizations across Kyushu, Chugoku, Kansai, and Fukushima. Operating as a unified entity, they share resources and collaborate while engaging in activities rooted in their respective regions. Valuing the desire of mothers to feed their children safe and secure food, they aim to enrich each community. Actively working towards carbon neutrality, their group company “Green Coop Electricity” supplies power solely from natural energy sources, without relying on nuclear or fossil fuels.
folofly F1 Series – Meeting the Decarbonization Needs of the Commercial Vehicle Industry
By focusing on domestic product development and design while outsourcing production in a “horizontal division of labor” style similar to smartphones, folofly has achieved the development and sale of Japan’s first 1-ton class EV trucks, the F1V and F1T, at twice the usual speed. There is ongoing interest in their introduction, as the need for decarbonization in commercial vehicles varies widely depending on industry, transportation methods, and cargo types. Moving forward, folofly will collaborate with forward-thinking companies striving for a sustainable society, developing vehicles and services tailored to diverse needs, contributing to decarbonization that balances economy and ecology.
folofly is currently recruiting new team members.
We welcome individuals ready to take on new challenges responsibly and those interested in creating new value.
