Development Background: Meeting the Logistics Industry’s Decarbonization Needs
The surge in e-commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic has driven rapid growth in the logistics sector. folofly adopts a “horizontal division of labor” model, focusing on domestic planning and design while outsourcing production overseas. This approach enabled the company to launch Japan’s first 1-ton class EV truck, the EV F1 VAN, at twice the usual development speed.
While demand for the EV F1 VAN continues to grow, the logistics industry’s decarbonization needs vary widely based on business type, transport methods, and cargo. The newly announced EV F1 TRUCK is designed to meet these diverse needs, offering customizable cargo compartments. It leverages the knowledge and technology gained from the development of the EV F1 VAN.
Detailed specifications of the vehicle will be revealed at the unveiling event on June 23. folofly warmly invites those interested in EV adoption to attend.
